This summer SONORA detected an old spinning factory in Lower Austria built in the 19th century. The incredible building turned out to be the perfect photo shoot location for the indie rock band’s latest album “Eleven Ways To Remind The Past”.
As the album title already tells, SONORA tried to supply the songs with meaningful visual impressions. Full of history and remarkable at first sight, the factory’s ambience added depth to the whole idea. There were a bunch of motifs reflecting the building’s memorable past that assured to get all the pictures that were needed to underline the content.
Finding Bob, a lonesome grasshopper living in the abandoned production halls was a lucky moment and so Bob turned out to be the best front cover motif SONORA could imagine. Beside that grasshopper bob managed to be part of SONORA’s new band logo. How cool is that?
A studio shooting later that day completed an excellent photo set.
Last but not least working with Agata Beata Adamiak, a talented photographer from Vienna, Austria was just awesome. Passion and excitement filled both locations as Adamiak caught every little breeze of Sabine’s, Oliver’s, Hartwig’s and Florian’s emotions.
